Summer Glau, an American actress, is famous for her roles in the roles of River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. The band was composed of Selena and her older siblings Abraham junior who played base guitar and sister Suzette playing drums and Selena sang in the band. Selena Y Los Dino band performed at many venues, wedding fairs and restaurants with her older brothers and sisters. Selena's family members and she did not have having a happy childhood since the band took up the majority of her space and time. Their father Abraham was a great supporter of his children to pursue their dreams by encouraging them. Abraham senior also performed with the Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos began to be formed in the year 1981. It was a family-owned business, Selena Los Dinos which was the primary income source for the family. Although there were tough times starting out with very little cash, the Quintanilla family persevered and remained focused with their efforts to become an effective band. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known in the western states in the late 80s. Selena was named Female Vocalist and Performer at the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to receive awards of Tejano awards for music, and they gained fame and respect. They were featured on a variety of Spanish programming on television including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
